A Letter to A-G Veterans

Dear colleagues,

As I reflect on A-G’s incredible journey over nearly two decades, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to our Veteran employees and to the military spouses who support our Veterans. Your service to our country has not only shaped who you are but has also profoundly impacted our company.

The values you embody — leadership, integrity, teamwork, and resilience — are the very foundation of our success as an organization. Your unique experiences bring invaluable perspectives to our workplace, fostering a culture of innovation, mission focus, and commitment. I am continually inspired by your work ethic and mission dedication, both in your military service and in your contributions here at A-G. Over the years, we have grown and thrived thanks to the hard work and passion of Veterans like you.

Through our work supporting some of the most vital and pressing behavioral health challenges within the Veteran community – suicide prevention, substance misuse and recovery, and access to trauma-informed crisis care, to name just a few – we actively seek ways to support service members, their families, and communities. Our work on initiatives like Lethal Means Safety and Buddy Check Week are just two examples that I couldn’t be more proud of our team for piloting. It is our goal to continue honoring America’s Veterans through our vital work with the Defense Department, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and Veteran Serving Organizations (VSOs) across the country. This was the founding tenet of A-G’s Military, Veteran, and Family (MVF) Center of Excellence (COE) and central to our support for mission-driven organizations serving the service community.

As a company that cares so deeply about serving Veterans, I also wanted to take the time to recognize the importance of giving back to the Veteran community at large. At A-G, we are committed to creating opportunities for Veterans to thrive in their civilian lives. We will continue to dedicate our time and resources to sponsoring organizations like the Travis Manion Foundation, Warrior Gamer Foundation, Hiring our Heroes, and other impactful Veteran non-profits that align with the A-G social mission.

Thank you all for your service and for being an integral part of A-G. Together, let’s continue building a company that not only celebrates our achievements but also drives meaningful impact for our Veterans and their families.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Peg Anthony
