The Challenge

A-G’s program evaluation team was engaged to support three Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) CCBHC Grantees. Two are behavioral health clinics in the State of Maryland- Volunteers of America Chesapeake and Carolinas and Mosaic Community Services Inc. The other one is in the state of Indiana- Cornerstone, Grant-Blackford. The CCBHC clinics are working toward integration of behavioral health and primary care services, increasing access to services for vulnerable populations, and improving quality of life through the provision of coordinated care.

Services

A-G collaborates with clinic program directors, leadership, and clinical teams to design a tailored evaluation framework, establish key performance indicators, track and monitor data and benchmarks, and develop reporting processes for SAMHSA and for continuous quality improvement across clinical programs and services. A-G’s evaluation capacity- building workgroups and change management strategies have impacted how the clinics streamline service integration, data collection, and reporting.
