Vania Yague, M.A.
Vania Yague has over a decade of experience in the mental and behavioral health field. She has exceptional experience providing individual and family assessment and treatment planning, as well as extensive experience in case management, process involvement, client management relations, and leadership. She is skilled in data analysis, problem-solving, and working with teams and clients to develop actionable plans and crisis intervention strategies. Vania thrives in a results-driven, collaborative environment.
Vania works as a management analyst and program evaluator for A-G Associates, where she supports multiple projects under different contracts and grantees, including the Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) and Volunteers of America Chesapeake and Carolinas (VOACC).
Previously, she worked as a therapist for individuals, couples, children, groups, and families in a private practice setting and several community agencies. She also worked as a Child Protective Services Social Worker for Arlington County Department of Human Services in Arlington, Virginia, where she further advanced her clinical assessment, case management and crisis intervention skills. She was also a case supervisor for Pacific Child and Family Associates, a center for evidence-based, family-oriented autism therapies, where she directly supervised over forty Applied Behavior Analysis therapists and was responsible for overseeing the overall quality of each client’s program and services.
Vania received her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Education from University of California in Irvine. She is currently pursuing a Project Management Professional certification.
