Roxann Thompson

Roxann Thompson currently provides ad hoc materials development services for A-G Associates. She has designed reports to Congress, briefing papers, campaign collaterals, fact sheets, slide presentations, and conference materials. In addition to her graphic design and formatting work, Ms. Thompson also prepares minutes and writes reports for A-G’s many support contracts.

Roxann designed the April 2022 Interdepartmental Serious Mental Illness Coordinating Committee’s (ISMICC) Report to Congress entitled Advances Through Collaboration: Federal Action for a System that Works for all People Living with SMI and SED and their Families and Caregivers. Roxann has created PowerPoint presentations for children’s crisis services in relation to new 988 crisis hotline and provided formatting support for the 2021 release of the Substance Use Disorders Recovery with a Focus on Employment and Education Resource Guidebook. Roxann designs all meeting collaterals (signage, program books, name badges, table tents, PowerPoint presentations, etc.) as well as several briefing papers and fact sheets for The National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Directors (NASADAD). In October 2018, Ms. Thompson designed the Share the Light campaign collaterals for National Runaway Prevention Month in November.

Roxann previously served as the Senior Manager for SAMHSA’s CSAT Logistics Contract, where she coordinated meetings, conferences, and webinars. She has extensive experience coordinating virtual events including a CSAT event that was held over three days and had approximately 300 registrants, one general session room and three breakout rooms. In January 2020, Ms. Thompson organized a webinar for more than 1,000 registrants on the topic of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the Intersection with Human Trafficking. This webinar was presented in conjunction with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). In January of 2019, Ms. Thompson organized a webinar for more than 950 attendees about Human Trafficking. The recording of the webinar was made 508-compliant by adding captions and performing 508 remediation on the slide presentation. The recording was disseminated nationally.

Roxann is a Certified Virtual Events Producer (CVEP) and a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and holds a Multimedia Certificate. She volunteers with Old Town Strong – a community-based organization that sponsors local events and fundraisers – and enjoys attending live music events.
