Peg Anthony is a seasoned organizational consultant whose credentials span an impressive 40-year career.  As an employee of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency from 1979 to 1989, and since then as a contractor to more than 40 agencies including the CDC, NIH, HRSA, CMS and SAMHSA, Peg has a wealth of experience supporting the needs of agencies that protect and advance the nation’s defense and public health requirements.  Peg brings a wealth of expertise and experience in providing services to government agencies, including dozens of agencies that she has served continuously since the 1970s.

The focus of Peg’s work is organizational and public service transformation.  She founded, developed, and led customer satisfaction and loyalty survey and program improvement practices at three consulting firms, before founding A-G Associates. By delivering research-based strategic consulting, Peg and her teams have assisted and facilitated numerous client organizations in transforming themselves into market-driven, customer-focused entities.  She has designed and managed organizational improvement and service excellence projects at the VHA and VBA; the largest HHS agencies including HRSA, CDC, CMS, NIH, and SAMHSA; the Departments of Education, Homeland Security, Labor, Energy and Interior; the Army Medical Command; most Defense agencies (DLA, DFAS, DISA, and DCAA); Army, Navy and Air Force; and the IRS, EPA, FEMA and Social Security Administration.

Many of Peg’s clients embarked on strategic initiatives to strengthen relationships internally and externally, to become more customer-focused, less bureaucratic, and more competitive in cost and quality, and to promote innovation and large-scale change.  She has consulted with Federal agencies on establishing improved relationships with citizens and customers.  She developed citizen grant programs and trained Federal officials in handling stakeholder interactions (including complaints, public meetings, and ongoing activities).

Peg’s technical, management, and client relationship skills are well regarded among her many satisfied clients.  Her clients praise the organizational and program improvements and service excellence they have achieved because of the support provided by Peg and her respective project teams. Peg received her EdD and MS degrees in Education, from The George Washington University and Indiana University, respectively.  She received her BA from Baldwin-Wallace University, where she majored in Political Science.
