Michelle Wagler is a management consulting professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, including project and event management. Michelle currently provides on-site and virtual support for A-G Associates under the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Center for Substance Abuse and Treatment (CSAT) support contracts and serves as project manager under A-G Associate’s contract with the Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC). Under the CSAT contract, Michelle oversees event management tasks from the pre-planning stages through on-site event support and post-event reporting. Michelle coordinates and delivers events while ensuring adherence to all federal and government regulations. As Project Manager, Michelle supports the Hilltop Institute in their efforts to develop a Multi-Payer Claims Analytical Tool (MCAT) under a three-year contract with HSCRC. Michelle promotes stakeholder engagement throughout each phase of the project through the coordination of a series of in-person and virtual technical and project review meetings.

Prior to joining A-G Associates, Michelle worked for the state of South Carolina as the Facility Rental’s event coordinator for the South Carolina State Museum. During this time, she worked with various state agencies including the South Carolina Department of Commerce, South Carolina Department of Education, South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, the South Carolina Arts Commission, and the South Carolina State Library amongst others to coordinate meetings, conferences, and training sessions. Other notable organizations that she has worked with include AFLAC, PricewaterhouseCoopers, the Heart Association, BB&T, Ameriprise, Boeing, Colonial Life, Donate Life, the University of South Carolina, and the National Kidney Foundation. Her work with the South Carolina State Museum included the coordination of large-scale events of up to 1,500 attendees.

Michelle graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management. She is a Certified Virtual Event Producer and a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
