Mary Stephens is a results-driven business and project management professional with extensive experience in program management. She is a transformational leader with proven results in building relationships, performance management, and inspiring change to maximize organizational effectiveness. She transforms organizations through data analysis, problem-solving techniques, and human resource management.

Mary currently manages the oversight and implementation of multi-faceted federal contracts that include budget management, strategic planning, oversight of research and data analysis, development of briefing materials and delivery of presentations to executive leadership, and development and facilitation of leadership retreats and training. She is also responsible for the assessment of the current culture of organizations and utilizing findings to develop Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement plans to improve cultural practices and address institutional inequities.

Before joining A-G Associates, Mary spent twenty years working as a leader in the behavioral healthcare industry, including corporations, non-profits, and the federal workforce. Her leadership experience spans many arenas including organizational executive, operations and compliance, and clinical services, as well as federally subsidized housing programs. In addition to her leadership and program management experience, she has extensive experience identifying gaps in mental health organizations, assessing training needs, developing curricula, and delivering training to diverse audiences to improve processes and culture. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Mary specialized in substance abuse and trauma work throughout her career.

Mary received a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University – Shreveport, a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from North Carolina State University. She holds a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from University of South Florida College of Business, a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate from the Project Management Institute and completed a certified coach training program with the Institute for Life Coach Training to become a Board Certified Coach (BCC).
