Delora Shedrick

Delora Shedrick has more than 30 years of experience managing large federal government contracts on a national level, reaching racial and ethnic minorities and other at-risk populations. She is currently a principal for A-G Associates, where she is responsible for the oversight of projects that include training, facilitation, technical assistance, curriculum development, project management, workforce development, and organizational development.

Delora’s primary focus is to develop and sustain collaborations and partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and strengthen leadership development. Through the provision of one-on-one coaching to working with small groups, she provides capacity building with community-based organizations, as well as organizations to enhance infrastructure development, cultural competence, strategic planning, and program and policy development.

Delora has significant experience working with children, youth, and families, along with the service providers who work with this population to address behavioral health, academic, and career development. She is committed to promoting wellness, risk reduction/risk awareness, and resiliency.

Delora speaks regularly at a variety of local, national, and international conference events. She has written and co-authored over thirty training manuals on a variety of behavioral and organizational development topics. She has an M.A. in Counseling from the University of the District of Columbia and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore. She is also licensed as a social worker.
