Brandee Reed, M.A.

Brandee Reed has a diverse background specializing in strategic planning, performance tracking, and communications. At A-G Associates she works with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Authority (FTA) as a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Expert. With a passion for change management, Brandee assists with the implementation of FTA’s DEIA strategic plan to ensure a wholistic approach to improving America’s communities through public transportation. She collects data for federal reporting, monitors KPIs, develops standard operating procedures, plans and executes cultural observance events, and creates innovative initiatives to support the expansion of FTA DEIA efforts.

Prior to joining A-G, Brandee spent ten years working in DC Government’s, Office of the State Superintendent of Education responsible for performance management and oversight as well as tracking division performance goals. She oversaw departmental communications and served as liaison for the department to the City Council, Office of the City Administrator and the Office of the Mayor. Brandee has facilitated training to adult learners, served as the Equal Employment Opportunity Officer and Freedom of Information Act Officer, and managed contracts for the government.

Brandee received her Bachelor of Science from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and her Master of Arts from American University. Brandee is a Fall 2017 Education Pioneer Fellow and completed the Essential Management Skills for Emerging Leaders course at Harvard Extension School, Professional Development Programs. She also received her Strategic Project Management Certification through the Certified Public Management Program (CPM), a nationally accredited CPM program specifically designed to enhance the skills of District Government managers in partnership with The George Washington University. She enjoys mentoring young girls, teaching them the fundamentals of life, growth, and a variety of skill sets.
